Warnings: Joel comes from an apocalyptic canon in which majority of the population have been infected by a fungus and essentially became zombies. He kills (pretty brutally), he injures, he tortures--all with some subjectively moral type of reason, but it's still shit he does. Also, descriptions of the world around him can be pretty fucking nasty. The Infected in particular are a gross type of body horror, so hey.
